I had the distinct pleasure of collaborating with PMI on a remarkable project. I worked hand-in-hand with their creative director, Damien D'Amico, who provided invaluable input throughout the process. PMI was responsible for capturing all the necessary footage, which consisted of backplates showcasing various environments. My role involved modifying a stock truck model and seamlessly integrating it into each shot. This task required meticulous attention to detail, such as adjusting the backplates to create accurate reflections on the truck and synchronizing wheel speed for every scene. Though the end product exudes an air of simplicity and elegance, the journey to achieve this outcome was anything but easy. The project demanded patience and precision, with a total of 60 shots created, some of which were entirely 3D (like the windmills). I also utilized thinking particles to generate realistic lidar scans for the animation. My commitment to providing top-tier 3D animation services, coupled with a relaxed yet professional demeanor, enabled me to successfully complete this project for PMI. The collaboration with their creative team and the pursuit of perfection in every detail resulted in a visually stunning and engaging animation that exceeded expectations.
