If the chosen effect is in Group A (Scratch, Wind, Whistle, Sizzle, Theremin), then the drag area will prompt: "Click and drag slowly."
If the chosen effect is in Group B (Foot Steps, Computer Beeps, Computer Boops, Bang, Pop, Clang), then the drag area will prompt: "Click, drag and release quickly."
No sound is produced unless the left mouse button is held (or a touch is active) and the pointer is moving.
Volume is based on drag speed (faster movement equals louder sound) while vertical position controls pitch (higher up = higher pitch).
For quick effects, release the pointer quickly to trigger the transient sound.
Press "Record" to capture your performance; press it again to stop, then use "Play" or "Download" to review/save your recording. Each new recording overwrites the previous one.
